This describes what information Webformer collects and how it's used. Provided for transparency to customers; not a substitute for formal legal counsel.

1. What we collect

Your name, business name, email, and/or phone number, submitted through the request form.
A description of your business, preferences (style, pages, package), and any testimonials you provide.
Photos you choose to upload for use on your site.
Basic technical data (like IP address) used only for spam/abuse prevention on our forms.

We never receive or store your payment card details — those go directly to Stripe, our payment processor.

2. Why we collect it

To design, build, and deliver your website.
To communicate with you about your project (previews, revisions, delivery).
To process payment for a paid package, via Stripe.
To prevent spam and abuse of our public forms (rate limiting).

3. How your info is used to build your site

The business details and preferences you submit are used to generate your site's content, including being processed by an AI service (Anthropic) to write and design page copy. This is solely to produce your website — it isn't used to train any model or shared beyond what's needed to generate your site.

4. Who we share it with

Stripe — payment processing.
Our email provider — sending you previews, confirmations, and your final site files.
Anthropic (Claude) — generating your site's written content and layout.

We don't sell your information to anyone, and we don't share it with advertisers.

5. Showcasing your site

Completed sites are not publicly featured by default. If we'd like to include your site in our public showcase or reviews, we'll ask you first.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your project information and files for as long as needed to deliver and support your site. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see contact below.

7. Cookies & tracking

Delivered sites include a basic view-counter (a single tracking pixel) so you can see visit counts on your own site. This doesn't identify individual visitors, isn't shared with any ad network, and isn't used to build advertising profiles.

8. Your rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
